A perfectly beautiful poem with an especially beautiful last verse:
'I saw a fleck of glitter this morning,
caught in an abandoned web of time.' (wow!)and the rest of this verse was pure magic and could stand alone as a poem in itself also I love the photo above the poem.

From what I read that little bit of glitter of the smile you once had now exploding will cover your universe with happiness from here on out. It takes a certain satisfaction with who we are what we stand for to be happy with just what we have.

I know, from past experience, what an old photo can do for the heart and soul and motivations. A very transparent poem. What you describe: Empty. Betrayed. No happiness. You trusted someone with your heart, they shattered it, and threw back the pieces. Heartbreak is like a tsunami. It fully inundates. Sadly some never reclaim what was lost. It comes back differently. Took me years to heal after my first wife left me for a $500,000.00 a year man. But that didn't last either. Took only six months to destroy them. The ordeal stole something from me that has never fully returned. I remember our cat running after her down the street, the night she left, and getting hit by a car and dying. Very heavy symbolically and spiritually to me. I realized that if I wanted to survive I had to evolve emotionally. Not easy. Someone better came along some time after that, wounded as deeply as I'd been in life, and she made me a far better man. With her we've both accomplished more, and better, than we ever had before. I wish you well. I'll read your book. Peace... r

First of all, I would like to applaud Mr. Hull's declaration that he is "not a woman". Your candor is much appreciated.
Excellent points, Janna. My guess is that the vast majority of women agree with you. Women are the backbone of our society and raising children properly is the most noble job on the planet. What women know in their hearts is far superior to anything that's babbled about in the media.
P.S. Ron is a great guy! He and I have had quite a few pleasant exchanges.

I am not a woman but believe in equal pay for equal work. And for an equal say in the affairs of humanity. For too long, the subservient role has had to be played by women whose men were incompetent.
