A very honest, open poem. The author does not use metaphors, symbols, or other typical devious schemes exploited by other poets to conceal deficiencies in their writing. In fact, the author seems rather open about the deficiencies in her own life. The use of the hotel tells me that both are in hiding and relying on each other as an escape from their current reality. Maybe one needs more of an escape than the other, but this is not a point the author wishes to make. Instead the author wishes to convey the ecstasy she feels each time she is in the presence of this man. Regardless of what she might be escaping, she finds her release when with him. One thing that struck me is that the author relishes the metophysical, in addition to the physical and emotional pleasures. This man completes her, he fullfills every need. One might so as far to say in this man she finds a soul mate. Here's to hoping the author remains 'dizzy' still today and forever.
