The Nest That Could Fly is a delightful story involving a pair of robins and their three hatchlings, as the parents embark on raising their brood and teaching them to fly. It engages the young reader with the hatchlings’ sibling antic, the robin parents’ guidance, and the trials and tribulations that befall them following a stiff breeze culminating into a storm. The young reader is entertained with humorous encounters as the hatchlings learn to fly. It tickles their funny bone to imagine a nest that literally flies and lands in an unlikely place!

Hummer The Humming Bird (Short Story) - 10/1/2017 2:05:07 PM
Hummingbirds are indeed beautiful creatures. They dart around like crazy at my feeder, trying to chase the others away. I truly love watching them! I find their tiny nests occasionally in the trees on our three acres. I love birds in general. One of my favorites to watch are the Quail. Numerous birds of different species visit our property, from turkeys to eagles and hawks of all sizes. They are all wonderful!

America's Got Talent-2015, Season 9 (Article) - 6/26/2014 7:34:08 AM
I went to your website and looked at the picture, but I have no idea what freestyle brooming is. Your article should at least describe what it is that you do.
My brother-in-law's father who lived to be 100 was a jolly man of some talent. For the children he always brought out a broom, balanced it on it on the wood handle end, and massaged the broom bristles. He then could remove his hands and the room would stand on its handle, perfectly balanced, and move back and forth with his hands placed about 3 inches from the broom. It was magical at the time. I now believe that it was static electricity that built up when he massaged the broom bristles that created and magnetic effect, allowing him to keep the broom upright and moved to his seemingly command.
From your picture, the room looks like some kind of skateboard type vehicle, but I can't tell for sure.

A nice ode to the ocean and pristine beaches everywhere. Both need a real cleaning up after what we've dumped into the rivers leading to the sea and into the sea, itself. What a shame!

It gets better when you're older, slip sliding with your lover, hotter on a hot night.

To sleep with Out The Light (Poetry) - 6/26/2014 7:58:17 AM
I don't have any children, but have noticed that people that do have night lights in the children's rooms that I have slept in. From my childhood remembrances, I don't remember needing any light or having any fear of monsters in the night, only storms that came up suddenly with a lot of lightning and thunder. And then I didn't quake in fear, only wished that they would be over soon so that it would be dark and quiet and I could go back to sleep.
When we plant monster stories in kid's minds and provide comforts like blankies and night lights, we are inadvertently creating fearful sissies instead of independent, outgoing children.

I am so sorry for your losses. Does not matter the age nor if it was before their first breath was taken. The pain, grief remains the same. Again I am sincerely sorry for the many losses.
