Lacy: Another very important write. Your chosen location to post, is that of the most fertile ground. It is a blessing to my heart to see you ministering, as the Lord would have you. Today, I was thinking of my youth and the great mistakes I have made in past. Yet, the Lord has took me from where I used to be, at the point of the worst time in my life and has LOVED me so unconditionly; I delight in Him for He alone is able (Ephesian 3:20-21)Yes. Lacy, each day my heart sings songs unto Him: those songs of Glory, Honor and Praise for I trust in Him with my Life, for Jesus is My All And All--for whom I can confide in and trust in with my Life,for His Love overshadows my very exsistance. Lacy: This was an exceptinal write! God is not done with any of us, yet,I just posted a writing called, "A Higher Calling", the Lord is definately a lover of our soul. Your poem was very timely and encouraging, please pray for my daughter"Maya" for the Lord is truly manefesting a great works in her, even as we speak. For He has said, "Call those things that are not, as if they are." and "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Hi Lacy,
I enjoyed your story--though sad. I have learned that it is not how many mistakes we make in life, but how well we rebuild after we make them. Sounds like you've come a long way.
My own addiction was with cigarettes. I suppose that might be considered mild compared to some of the heavy "drug stuff" out there today, but an addiction is an addiction and it enables us to understand a little of what its like when people try to overcome addictions. Congratulations on your trials, struggles, and growth toward being the best person you can be.

Hi Lacy's
You are so right about God wanting us to focus on Him. I belong to a healing ministry, here in Toronto. Two weeks ago, at our Wednesday healing session, a young woman came in for prayer and healing. She told us how her marriage was suffering because of her husband's drug addiction; how her children were starving because there wasn't enough money to buy groceries; how her own health was failing because she couldn't cope. When she cried out to God, I noticed she kept telling Him what to do about her situation. I gently prodded her to ASK, not TELL. To make a long story short, when we saw her last Wednesday, she told us that when she went home after the healing/praying session, her husband gave her $100. She went to the grocery store and was $10 short. She began removing items from the shopping cart. A woman behind her offer to pay, not just $10 but for her entire shopping. It's amazing what God will do when you trust Him enough to ask.

Your writing will be a light in a person's heart. Although I have not encountered anyone in my family who is an alcoholic, I know that there are so many parents suffering from seeing this dreadful disease affect their families.
I am not an expert on alcoholism, but I think your writing shows passion, love, caring, tenderness, and can offer hope to so many.
