Rudolf, it was just last week I went to visit my parents, and a cousin told me about the same story. But this priest was doing this to naive young women in the villages. I'm Catholic, but it's really shameful the things our church decide to swwep and the carpets.

Some kisses are better left undone, so that they may have a life of their own in remembrance of what did not happen. This poem captures the essence of that feeling very well.

"Unforgettable"...I hear Johnny Mathis' voice...the rose bouquet fits that...however, your poem and its message are an altogether different thing.
Incomplete or unfinished affairs of l'amour haunt indeed. You expressed that in a stark way.
