Ikebe! (Poetry) - 9/27/2025 10:44:01 AM
You had me feeling your fallacious desire!
My girlfriend used to call it her "onion." It reminded me of the roundness and softness of a peach without the fuzz.
She is a bowler and bowling requires that you bend over to throw the ball. She always gathered a small crowd of men who would gather behind her as she bowled. Just to get a better glimpse of her glutinous maximus that really wasn't very large, but very svelte, indeed.

PS. She's an African/European/Native American melting pot of ancestry.
I Was Late to the Land Called Golden; I Had Started Early! (Poetry) - 9/22/2025 2:59:00 PM

Thanks!
It is about life's journey and the truth essence of time passing. It considers the notion that although some people may reach their objectives or destinations sooner than others, others are left behind; once more, some people never achieve their dreams, but others, with tenacity and overcoming hardships, arrived with authenticity and experience. It also illustrates how different stages of life occur at various periods for different people of the same or different status.

I hope I have not misinterpreted but it appears that you are referring to becoming stable in your life and not going the way of so many others. Reaching that golden place, perhaps retirement, with a good income and savings.
But I could be wrong… I have been many times.

Today is not for the Poet (Poetry) - 6/29/2020 8:55:59 AM
What a dreary sort of affairs, dear poet! One cannot fully understand your angst and inability to write on this wonderful day of poetic expression.

Liar never lies (Poetry) - 4/28/2020 9:45:17 AM
You have brought to us the many lives of lies. They inhabit our world much more than we would like to admit. Everyone lies. Mostly for protection of loved ones.
For most of my life I have written nonfiction. When you write nonfiction articles, especially scientific ones, drawing the wrong conclusions is a lie. One must stick to the data and interpret it correctly. That is hard, not easy. The easy way is to take our beliefs and call them the truth without any evidence except anecdotal and references, sometimes from an ancient document that has no relevance today.
So now that I am retired, I write fiction. In fiction, I can lie without any reprisals from near and far for not telling the truth. Oh freedom!

Liar never lies (Poetry) - 4/27/2020 10:14:29 PM
Well done! You made me analyze y deep inner thoughts. After all, we all try to hide the truth from people who hurt us and people who act like they do not care. That inner-truth may be a lie to protect us from further hurt so our words of truth do not pierce the air. For if the truth were to come out of every one of us, every single time; we would not be thinking right in a heated moment so we need to simmer down, and give things some time. Not to tell or express our feelings in the heat of a moment may be hiding the truth but it might also prevent a vicious crime. Amen
