One could say that down there they had another world at their feet. August afternoons are the ones of transition, like the August month of man's age, just before the snow come and the school of minnows thoughts are encase by winter. Georg

Watching the day turn to sepia transforms this scene into an old photograph. Something one make keep as a souvenir of a given place and time or as a reminder of inspiration. There are points in life where all the beauty, efforts and dreams seem to converge. This poem makes me think of such moments. Very inspiring. Grazie per questo regalo. AXILEA

Nadia ... I am glad that I found this poem. I had a clear vision of Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer while reading, and also the wonder of the imagery you created wove itself into that little boy in me that refuses to die. Beautifully written. Light and Wisdom ... Richard Lloyd Cederberg

The sinister images this poem stirs in my mind are surely triggered by the dark side of the moon, which would also be full and rising. This is wonderful writing!
