I agree with Eva. Phrases like, "A few tired flakes fell to Earth like fallen angels," make this story quite memorable along with the storyline. A few inconsistencies bothered me, like why Liam didn't have to go back and file a report with the police after the incident, how the lone policeman escaped the hands of Trav's men during the distraction, and why the child was dropped at Charles and Melissa's in the first place. Perhaps the second reading would give me clues…
Anyway, a heartwarming Christmas story with a Santa intervention to remember.

A well-written, heartwarming story with suspense, mayhem, ingenuity, and the affirmation we all need in our lives once in a while when things get stirred up to no longer take loved ones for granted.
