An Author's Guide to Online Marketing, Second Edition (Book) - 7/22/2020 8:50:26 AM
I must confess two things: I don't read very much and marketing has been the least of my concerns. As a writer, my focus has always been on the content of my work. Sure, I would like others to read what I write, so I have published almost everything I've written since 1999. I also post all of my short stories and some of my books, chapter by chapter, here.
I have been on the Internet since 1997 when I opened my website. But I haven't, except for AD, engaged in social media. I have a Facebook account with hardly anything on it. I already have had, free from my publisher, a very good marketing book but have hardly scratched the suggestions, because I don't have the time or energy to engage in constant surfing for sites that will carry my books and allow me to complete all the information required to advertise through them. Many of which, I would have to "join."
But from what I know from the authors here, many need help with online marketing, so I'm sure your book will get a following. From your bio you seem to be a very energetic marketer. So I believe this book in its second edition will be very helpful for those like my cousin who just published her book, 51 Shades of Online Dating. But she already knows the Internet social sites much better than I. In the small time I allot each day for reading mostly from magazines, I am halfway through her very informative book after a week of reading every day for about one half hour. You can see why I don't read many books.

Of all the leadership books out there, and there are many, you certainly have an interesting hook. You will certainly catch the eye of cat lovers.
A psychologist at the University of Wisconsin once acquired the attic of a large building and funding for a research study on the behavior of cats. He studied them at night when they are most active. Like Freud, what he found out was that cats were spending their nighttime hours pursuing sex.

Thank you for that information. We have perennial mums in our backyard and an exotic lily in the front yard that blooms beautifully several times a year. We also have neighborhood cats that routinely come into our backyard to harass the birds that come to our bird feeder, scare the only squirrel we have around and do their business, stinking up our garden.
