I am not a very good story writer Christine. What I have sent to this site are just words that come to mind with little though as to how they are set out.
I do not know if I have to capability to do as you suggest or even the patience. Time is my worst enemy as well as priorities.
What you have said has set me thinking, perhaps there is hope for me and my humble efforts to better my writing.

It used to worry me that so few people reviewed my poems, then one day I found I had a Stats page, then I did not feel so bad.

Chistine, I found this article most interesting. I often wish that someone out there would criticize my poems. It is lovely to have nice things said about my work, but nice things do not help me not one bit.
I know what I wish to say and so say it, but, and that is a big but, I would love to learn to say it better.
You are a busy young lady, but if you can pick one of my poems, perhaps one of the better ones, and criticize it for me I will name my next child after you.

So my dear young lady, you are partially blind. Perhaps it is as well then that you cannot see this lined old face of mine, though my wife thinks that I am passable in a crowd. She also has some Spack Filler that will do a reasonalble job of smoothing things out a bit.
Any way enough of the blathering. I am sorry that I have taken so long to get round to your site, I was somewhat tardy in looking to see who was tracking me. Having now seen your photograph I see that you are young and beautiful and as you say have a passion for writing.
I can get away with saying that you are young and beautiful because I am 76 years old, have a lovely wife ande four wonderful children, which having said that makes me far to old to chase you, any real distance anyway.
Having said all of that I would like to say thank you for being who you are, someone who is not afraid of life and accepts her disability
as a challenge.
Now I am going to leave you so that I can read some more of your work.

Interesting and I agree with a lot of your statements here.As a self taught writer and authour I learned the hard way what many spend years going to school to learn but the essence of a writer is still to touch the readers emotions in one form or another.
