'Rebekah Redeemed is the story of a shepherdess, Rebekah. Orphaned at the age of six she is taken, according to Jewish law, to live with relatives. Her uncle reluctantly takes Rebekah into his home. Rebekah's aunt and uncle don't treat her as family but as a slave. She is constantly worked like an animal, abused and neglected but she does make two friends at the well where she gathers water. They are Mary and Martha, sisters of Lazarus.
On the Mount of Olives Rebekah sees a group of men. The frightened girl hides among the olive trees hoping that she won't be seen. These men are totally silent except for the man they are listening to. He has a very calming voice. Who is this man?
After several years, Rebekah is sold to another uncle and his wife. Life doesn't improve much for Rebekah. Her aunt gives her to her spoiled cousin to serve him in his villa. There she is sexually abused...again.
After a life of hardships of every kind, Rebekah meets the man with the calming voice and her life is changed forever!
