Christian Romance Novelist eh?
I like how that influences the taste-buds
and how it moves lusciously on the synapses.
Being brought up Pentecostal -
in a repressive environment that
poo-pooed open toed heels, and painted toenails, and any kind of cleavage showing,
and of course knee-line skirts were anathema, and nylons were the devil's adornments -
I find the advent of anything romancing in Christianity a breath of fresh air.

I'm curious why your first line
and your last line are worded differently.
Prolly a typo eh?
I like some of the phraseology:
"Windsong sings sharp"
"the edge of twisting resist"
"sparkle shine asks"
these are dynamic imaging.
