The vivid front cover alone makes me want to order this book! The sample writing is also well-researched and eases the reader into a complex, fascinating world of magic, inspiration, history, mysticism etc. The Bardic heritage of the Celts is a wide, deep river with many tributaries. Like Kevan I've been fascinated for many years by figures like Brigid and Cerridwen and the ways in which they remain important to contemporary artists/writers etc. I'm looking forward to reading his particular take on these remarkable entities of the 'deep psyche', of the wilds and of the cosmological intricacies of time.
