For it is far ahead, if I can be sure of it,
And far it is, that my hallucination be valid,
And hallucination it is, as it should be,
And however, unlike itself, mysterious, unknown, and untested,
So it be foreseen in my tireless search.

You hit the nail on the head--easy to sit and talk about the good old days, not so easy to immitate them.
Another good poem you've written and by the way, I often take note of whether the grammar, rhythm, etc. are good. Yours are, of course, and I appreciate that in any poem.

A beautiful, fascinating poem! Although I'd add a few elements to his simple child-rearing philosophy, "A Dog, a Cat and a Mulberry Tree" is wise and charming. Well-written, too. I like it so much, I need to read more of your work.
This one actually made me say, "awwww, how sweet," as I read.

I'm so glad I didn't miss this outstanding tribute to natures hero, Steve Irwin. I watched him faithfully and was deeply moved by the emotion he felt toward all living, breathing creatures. I have heard sweet Bindi speak of her father and it always makes me cry. She will carry on her Father's legacy. Thank you for sharing this write with Ad. Everyone should read this. AMAZING write.

Thank you for reminding us that all is not lost, that no matter what our struggles are the good still outweighs the bad. I've been going thru a difficult time and this poem helped me, Oliver. There's alot of wisdom in this poem. Our problems seem small compared to things that bring us joy and happiness. Outstanding poem, my friend.

The Battlefields of Gettysburg, first a war zone, then forever sacred ground. Been there many times and now a proud contributor to its salvation for future generations to ponder. You bring a sense of peace and resolution to one of the most bloodiest battles hard fought by many a boy and young men.
