I love the beautiful phrases in the first verse--spun sugar promises, star gazer dreams and ice blue moonbeams. Why can't I come up with beautiful phrases like these? There's nothing down to earth about this lovely fantasy poem.
It's nice to read something so imaginative, but yet it's not dark like so many. Looking forward to more from you.

This is a wonderful poem of reminiscence. It's truly a blessing to grow up not having everything you could possibly want.
Soda Bread dreams build strong character, don't they?
