From what we experienced with visitors from outer space in the Airborne Warning and Control Wing of the U.S. Air Force during the early '80s, I believe most are physically very different from earthlings. I believe it is true that they learn and grow, display free will, and can communicate with us. But physically, most are from the realm of dark matter and dark energy that we can never know. That said, I am intrigued by how they can communicate with humans when humans cannot actually hear them.
