Yes, full of emotion and the truth. But your perspective is what I like the most. I'm with you that life is generally good and we have to accept the bad as the exception, not the rule.
Modern communication and the Internet causes all seven billion of us to be in the spotlight whenever there is something going on in our world. For those that fear all that can happen to them, the media magnifies it. All in all, in spite of all the drama in my life, it has been quite calm and peaceful, with many good friends, acquaintances, and helpful strangers.
Like you have written… Embrace life, it's all we have.
