The continuation of this story of a group of people that have chosen to love each other through everything life has to throw at them is -- refreshing.
For the person that is looking for fantasy without the constant appearance of vampires and the like, this is the story for you.
When it comes to the fantastical, this story is right up there with the best of them.
This reader has thoroughly enjoyed The Twins of Moons and now The Sea of Stars and can hardly wait for the next installment of this fun story.

Ryan’s Virusphere is a work of incredible magnitude. An amazing book on the evolutionary concepts of Virus. A perfect read for a layperson to understand the existence and importance of viruses on earth.
Ryan describes Viruses, as obligate genetic parasites who inhabit the landscape of the host genome. Are they really the fourth domain of our lives? Ryan had described all the self raised questions in very splendid details and profound knowledge.
We sorely need this book in this era of pandemic. All the chapters on the subject are well researched and well written. Ryan describes the evolutionary process under the Darwin theory as natural selection must be operated from a very early stage. Virus provokes mistakes in the copying of DNA of the host cell from one generation to the next. This book fills many of those blanks in a very intriguing way.
Frank Ryan is brilliant to stand out in explaining all about viruses and get as far as he did. He portrays that all viruses are not evil, they play an important role in establishing our genetic framework . From Introduction to the last chapter he shows all his skills of writing.
As a medical doctor I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about viruses.This book deserves all five stars.

From what a virus is to why we benefit from them and everything in between--this informative book is a must read for anyone interested in this topic and a great resource for future use.
While not a person from the scientific community, this reader still found this book interesting and informative.
The writing exhibits a level of knowledge of viruses that shows the author's passion for this subject. I, for one, am glad that the author took the time and patience to publish such a worthwhile and relevant book.
The chapters break down this topic into a very manageable, concise, and easy-to-read publication.
This is the same author of a pre-teen fantasy book (The Twins of Moon, a great read). Encountering a person with such a wide interest of subjects who has the ability to produce literary works of each, is fascinating.

I'm glad that you and others with knowledge from the scientific community are writing books for the general public to learn more about the things that "ill" us and why they are essential. Virusphere is a good example of what we fear the most, yet has its redeeming value--viruses.
In the past year I have read articles in two issues of National Geographic illustrating the value of bacteria in and on our bodies. It is revolutionary. Probably why so many are sick or have compromised immune systems. Whenever I get sick, I fight it the way I always did, with fluids, warmth, rest and nothing more. But everyone around me tells me that when they are sick they ask their doctors for their favorite antibiotic and get over with it very quick. Even if it is a virus? I doubt their anecdotal stories passed down from the magic and myth of penicillin.
I have been partially paralyzed in surgery for 57 years, gradually becoming quadriplegic during that time. But I'm still healthy by my blood stats. Most of my friends with similar conditions are dead. I just had a bout with a cold that lasted six weeks. Suspecting another UTI, my antibiotic used for that did nothing for this cold virus, but caused constipation from the gut bacteria that it killed.
Keep shedding the light of science on what really matters… Our health.

The fantastic looking cover drew my attention upon first seeing it. Congratulations to the artist for their creativity on the front and back cover. And upon reading the first page, I knew this was going to be time well spent, and it was!
The author's remarkable grasp of unused words throughout the publication is extraordinary.
The characters' empathy, love, curiosity, and courage is exhibited continually as they embark on a perilous journey.
This book lifts the fantasy genre to a place that will appeal to most readers. It has opened my eyes to the possibility that fantasy is a genre that could appeal to my psyche at times. And to add to that, it was refreshing to find a fantasy book that did not involve vampires and the like.
At the heart, this is a story of a consciously-made family and the lengths they will go to protect, love, and understand each other.
If you are searching for a storyline that keeps you completely engrossed and hesitant to put down-- you have located it.

I look forward to reading this book. I have been highly speculative of the source of such modern appearing and evolving plagues, every since I read "Correcting the Code: Inventing the Genetic Cure for the Human Body" by Larry Thompson.

An extremely important new area of investigation. Perhaps we'll find answers to philosophical questions, too, such as the mythology surrounding 'free will' and other behavioral mysteries, as well as more immediate medical solutions.

Replying to Ronald, it might amuse you, Ron, that I did sell a book into China not once but twice. It was back in the 1990's, once to mainland China and once to the other China, and each paid me a grand $1,000 advance. And that was that. No royalties. I was told at the time I was lucky. Earlier they'd have just copied it and paid me nothing.

It certainly is wonderful to have your book translated into another language. I would prefer Chinese because there are so many possible Chinese readers. Some folks need to have their books translated into English (pun intended) because it is the most read language in the world.
I'm at the stage of thinking about audio books. Like language translation, hiring a good actor reader to do a book could cost a lot and I'm not sure about long books being listened to as audiobooks. I guess I will have to venture down that lane to find out. Thanks for reminding me.

I viewed the trailer. It looks like you spent quite a bit of time and money on artwork and other promotion for your series. There seem to be so many fantasy stories like this out there, yours will have to be quite good in order for to be recognized.
While I have watched a couple of these stories in movie form with lots of adventures aimed at young people, I much prefer historical fiction of real people and real events over fantasy and magic.

At first I thought you were a Renaissance man capable of artistry as well as writing. I have shied away from doing any kind of poetry book because I felt they needed to be illustrated. And, while some have offered, amateurs never seem to be up to the job. So the only thing that I have illustrated are my book covers. However, in spite of the talent of a book cover artist that I have used, he doesn't follow my concepts very well and I've taken over doing my covers again with better software.
I can see why it might be difficult for an artist to picture your fantasy characters in less you have described them fully as a writer. You are fortunate to have a illustrator that can match your concepts well. Good luck with your endeavors.
