Wonderful piece Michael! During my transformation journey while losing weight and still losing....., I had a Colonel in the army pursue at a distance until one day he said to me, "My dear, you are the perfect woman I could ever want, if only I could cut your head off and transplant it with yoru heart onto a model's body" I will be waiting when you are done. I said ever so gently, when I am done dear Colonel its not you who will win my heart. You are so right -- reality holds the sweetest joys that fantasy can never attain. Well Done! Deborah

So glad I stumbled upon your poem. So very beautiful and as a single mother myself sacrificing for so many years and my children almost grown doing so well I feel it was not in vain. I pray someday as they become adults they will understand how hard I tried and convey such wonderful thoughts as you did above.
