Under Schuller's pen, these mighty men of God become human with all their faults and foibles exposed. Schuller uses tears and laughter, sarcasm and sincerity, compassion and anger to create a believable cast of characters. Characters that are not only believable, but who will also instill in you a sense of the eternal truth upon which this novel is based.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and welcomed the trip Mr. Schuller guided on the possible life and ministry of the Apostle Paul. He makes Paul come alive, with very real human emotions and temptations throughout. Paul experiences the joys of friendship and the pain of separation, both physical and emotional.
I don’t know if Mr. Schuller intends to write such novels on other biblical characters. I would encourage him to do so. If the effort he put into this novel is any indication, future books will help us get to know those familiar people better as fellow humans and fellow redeemed.
