The author's imagination is reflected in this fantastical story. On some level, the friendships and battles of personalities and cultures in this book are reflective of the world we live in.
This novel is the beginning of a saga that pits good against evil in an alternate world. This reader is looking forward to where the author is going to take the characters remaining at the end of this first publication.
'One person can make a difference' is the take away when the reader reaches the end of this first book. This is a refreshing new addition to the fantasy genre and one can hope the remaining publications will be as well written and engaging.
