Excerpt from Backside of the Country (Short Story) - 8/16/2007 7:19:00 PM
Sis: GREAT JOB!!!It's important ot talk, write and make history known; "for lack of knowledge we perish". I was shocked at the age of 23, to find that prejudice still existed. In addition, years ago I was given an artifact, an antiques African hand carved statue, from Africa. It despicts the truth, preceeding slavery, where Aficans were bound up, approximately, seven different ways. These facts and photos are not in our history books. Unfortunately, my carving despicts the physical bondage of African, and often the spiritual bondage of man without prejudice. Be Blessed (smile) Lots Of Love, Sis "D" A Servant of the Most High God.
