Both of these are beautiful poems! I love how you tell stories in each one, and they are so vivid. The thing I love most is how you express your feelings about love and relationships so richly without getting too intense or graphic in the descriptions. Have you ever performed these live? That would be awesome! If a person closed his/her eyes while you were reading these, the imagery would take them there. God bless you.

The imagery that you use is amazing! The titles of your poems so perfectly capture the essence of your poems... I loved how you tied everything in to King Kong in the first poem. In the second poem, I almost didn't complete it because it was a little shocking. But... the ending...after he left the coffin. Oh...pure beauty! I loved the imagery of the sun and rain at the end.

What a beautiful description of love...to defy the laws of physics and to change the way I think of love. I always thought that love kept me grounded, but now I realize that isn't true... it gives me roots, but helps me fly.
I love so many lines from this poem... really I love the whole expression. It is just superb!
And... I love the ending of the Picking Peaches poem as well...
