Well I'm intrigued to say the least. I never new that Hughes had founded a Genetic Research Program. It's even more interesting that this was never mentioned about him in the biographical movie the "Aviator" either. Hmmmm long live the cover up! I have to say that you have one hell of a story! You've totally blown my mind!

This was the coolest thing I've read in a while. Your descriptions of pre-teen life in sixties so-cal all fit my memories perfectly, thanks for the trip. Is that a photo of the specimen in the jar you found? Gotta go now and put a band-aid on my knee. David Perry.
