The Things Daughters Do (Short Story) - 3/10/2011 3:20:10 PM
You would kill without remorse? The only person who would say this is someone who has never killed. It's easy to say, not easy to do,

The Things Daughters Do (Short Story) - 3/5/2011 4:47:39 PM
Wow Natasha, as deep as the oceans and as high as the mountains. I sure hope this is just a write, but what a write. As Felix said if it is about you and your mother, you are a woman now and realize you can't go back but you always have tomorrow. It's been a while since we have heard from you. Newfie Hugs Honey, Rose

The Things Daughters Do (Short Story) - 3/5/2011 3:59:45 PM
this is such a striking write-so true for to many-it speeks volumes-i yearned for my mother's love as well

The Things Daughters Do (Short Story) - 3/5/2011 3:10:44 PM
I hope that this is not about you and your mother but if it is that you will find a way to bridge the gap between you and find a way to help the both of you heal. To lose one parent is a tragedy but to lose both is catastrophy. fee

Valley Shouts and Rocky Stumbles (Poetry) - 2/17/2011 10:40:05 AM
melancholy beauty!

Valley Shouts and Rocky Stumbles (Poetry) - 2/16/2011 7:28:32 AM
Not sure if this is about your own family or a family of your friends but you really capture the people and personalities wonderfully. I also loved the closing. Well done. fee

I'll never (Poetry) - 11/28/2010 7:12:49 AM
Never Original These walls are papered With faces and petals That can only be seen On the outside. Sometimes, I want to strip naked And roll in paint. Originality is an illusion Created by glossy photographs And desperate hopefuls Who could never quite manage to grasp the concept of life. (To die?) To paint is to play God, If only with a brush And a limited palette. You know ... I find myself in color (And Mary, and Jim, and Sue …) But nobody actually cares. It’s a vicious, vicious world! Three piece suits and bibliophiles alike Bloom and blossom To the sounds of insulting rap music. Illiterate speakers, transvestite soldiers Guns, knives, Advil and ping pong. Creation is condemned (And why not? We’re all just posers) While injustice is allowed. The city screams of forgery! (I live in a small town) This blacktop is alive! Live to die, die to live … Inevitability holds us prisoner. Structure, routine, hammer, GUN. Find yourself. Find yourself on someone else’s canvas.

Eyes (Poetry) - 10/25/2010 3:29:31 AM

Darling I love how you word your thoughts and feelings for others. Fantastic as usual. Newfie Hugs, Rose

Dandelion Twins (Poetry) - 9/16/2010 5:43:23 PM
well, hope surfacing in the last stanza, barely even then; its a wonderfully penned poem, sharp and imaginative, nicely flowing, except little off its beat in stanzas 3 - 5 (telling by the construction of the poem rhyme, to me, seemed considered important). in short, I think it's lovely read delivering a tough narrative, but reasonably light for its flow and rhyme-scheme. thank you!

Dandelion Twins (Poetry) - 9/16/2010 12:05:06 PM
Well done with the first few stanzas reflecting an almost depressed acceptance while further along and in the closing hope is expressed... fee

Pen VS. Pencil. (Poetry) - 4/25/2010 1:39:38 AM

How Cliché We Are (Poetry) - 12/11/2009 7:56:45 AM
Another probing look at the expectations we have of one another. I just love the depth of your writing- every word a clue...you make me think...which is good. Why can't we just be ourselves instead of being these puppets of others expectations? Challenging yet zesty write!

Write Me A Poem (Poetry) - 12/11/2009 7:47:52 AM
Natasha, this is an excellent poem about the expectations that parents have of their children and especially of how they wish their children would express themselves. The part about 'smoky deceptions' and 'guilt puppets' conveyed to me the density of illusion that often accompanies a simple request. A powerful write! ~Z.B.McClure

Yep, there comes that day when somebody has to say move over, chum, I'm in control, and, Natasha, it's a tale that only you could tell, and you've told it in overdrive. I like. -gene.

How Cliché We Are (Poetry) - 4/11/2009 7:54:54 PM
Interesting, Natasha. I never thought of myself as a cliche until that day when, three sheets to the wind, I was struck by a bolt from the blue, which provoked me to take the bull by the horns or, you might say, get down to brass tacks and call a spade a spade, or vice versa. As I remember, it was a red-letter day. I like how you write. -gene.

How Cliché We Are (Poetry) - 4/11/2009 7:06:02 PM

Once Upon A Peice Of String (Poetry) - 4/11/2009 5:30:31 PM
Oops. You spelled "piece" wrongly in the title... ...of course, unless you meant to; which, judging by the way you write, would not surprise me. I mean that respectfully. You write brilliantly because you express so much. Thank you. Love and best wishes, Regis

High School Heirarchy (Poetry) - 4/11/2009 5:21:22 PM

It is a sad fact of reality Natasha that we are all acters to one degree or another, to write using imagination and flare is to play the part of the main subject in your mind. Sometimes the scrips are real but we still unwittingly play our parts. Excellant write my dear young friend. hugs Fee

invisible girl (Poetry) - 9/19/2007 11:58:50 AM
How many of us have felt that way? Too numerous to count, I'm sure. Some of the most beautiful people that I know are no pagent beauty, but their insides - oh, my goodness! Beauty shines forth from their every pore, you just have to SEE them in their entirety. Kathy

invisible girl (Poetry) - 9/19/2007 3:17:32 AM
Natasha, Natasha, You are ahead of yourself dear, you write such beautiful words to share with us. I am really impressed for your age and to think you were going to keep this for you and only you. It is a terrible thing to go through life unoticed, a feeling of being seperated from the rest of the world. As you said, if you could just look past the imperfections, there is a beautiful person waiting to share and love. Thank you darling. Newfie Hugs, Rose

invisible girl (Poetry) - 9/18/2007 9:48:59 AM
Sad: if one's not part of the popular crowd, they're invisible. If one has a disability, they're invisible. If one does not give in to peer pressure, they're invisible. An excellent write, thought provoking, a call for change, perhaps? Well done. (((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Reading this Natasha brought back so many memories. As a writer and as an avid reader I can now look back to my young years and still recall the sense of being free each time I opened a new book to read. I can remember stacking up as many books at the library as they would let me borrow...almost as if fearing that if I wait the ones I chose may not be there the next time. This is a great piece of work young lady to be able to reawaken such long lost memories and bring a smile to my face. Thank you for sharing. Hugs Fee

Natasha this is a great self image but like all images we look at of ourselves they only let us see what we want to see. So now with your permission I will show you what others see... You are a very pretty young lady who will I have no doubt break many a young man's heart in the years to come (not intentionally of course) You have a sensitive side that is quite rare that can reach out to those who need a kind word or a hug You are bright, articulate, and wise beyond your 14 years You have a seld confidence as expressed in this poem that will help you in any career path you follow and best of all you have a lovely imagination and are a great asset to our den as a lovable young lady poet. Touch the sky (Poetry) - 9/4/2007 7:32:13 AM
Dear young Natashia...this is truly inspirational for you are so right the sky is the limit to what we can do if we set our minds to it. When I started writing my first book both friends and family laughed at me or made smart remarks or just gave me that cold silence that says more than words can. Anyway I went on to write it, have it published and go on to write and publish two more. I read your writing and I see that in the years to come your gift will continue to grow and it will always be your friend to call on whenever you need it. Warm Hugs and a big smile... Fee
