I really liked the first two lines in particular, and the way this played out. Hopefully the biggest bully will lose come Nov. 8th.

Most bullies are the victims of one form of weakness or another that they try to hide by being aggressive and hateful. Karma usually catches up with them at some point in their lives.

"… Her husband in fur."? Letting my imagination run wild I would say that he is now something like a werewolf and therefore, very dangerous. I think it would be far better for him to be her savior from all of her fears of the darkness." For example, He is just wearing a fur coat.
Perhaps it is just your intention to leave us wondering what the real outcome is.
