1. God is outside of time. There is no re-sacrifice. The Jews understood this. That they are at the Exodus, or the Exodus is there with them during Passover. They gird their loins to be able to run!
2. Everyone present in John 6 took Jesus literally. That’s why people left, the Jews decided to kill him, and the Apostles were left perplexed, saying only, “Where else shall we go?”
3. There is no Catholic ID card. Why do you feel you need permission to partake?
4. Early Christians were Martyred for “cannibalism”. They believed.
5. Christ’s divinity was questioned, requiring Church councils in the first few centuries. The Eucharist was not. All your ‘novelties’ happened centuries later. The Catholic Church had been around millennia before Protestantism (read Apostasy) came along.
6. Check out realpresence.org for Eucharistic miracles. Start with 1200 year old Eucharist turned to human heart tissue and still undegraded.

Reading over your thesis, I'd have to agree you really nailed this question rather convincingly. I myself have been blessed to have been able to view some very persuasive video evidence of the original crucifixion on U-Tube, but I was rather disturbed to note that it wasn't at all like the scene depicted in Monty Python's LIFE OF BRIAN. I suspect, however, that there are many deluded Islamic souls (conservatively estimated at numbering about 1.97 billion) out there who would have us believe otherwise, but I strongly suspect that's allah bunch of insupportable speculation anyway. At any rate, it is spiritually reassuring to know that Jesus is conclusively God, beyond any vestige of doubt. If it's of any relevance, your arguments in support of that fact are far more interesting than any offered up by Christopher Hitchens, and others of that detestable sort. Thank you and keep up the excellent work on His behalf!

Question: While nailed to the cross I recall Jesus praying. If Jesus was God, to whom did he pray? Himself?
