Just to comment about what i am interacting with is the fact that this is a story that carries alot of pain experienced by this two,though i find Trudy so sensitive to Emeralds predicaments,she is so discerning to know what Emerald could be in need of per time-looking at when she makes a phone call that Emerald prepares so that they can take breakfast together then Emerald gets excited,tells you that she was very empty and needed help.
When Emerald is talking of eviction whether to evict or had evicted,says-should be the husband Arthur,she is seen battling so much,compares the divorce to death,tells you she was truly affected unlike Trudy who looks more composed and taking control of Emeralds deliverance.
Trudy talks of a day they will get out of the dry spell-this i think could be related to a sort of loneliness that arises from death and divorce as it is.
Emerald talks about creating a song(eviction of Arthur)this tells me that this isn't about the physical Arthur but an Arthur in the mind that reoccurs and she is trying to deal with thoughts that are really affecting her.When she gets to the bed calling the name of Jesus it tells me that this is a difficult situation in her mind and its only by divine intervention that she recognizes help can be found.
But on the other hand i think Trudy as much as she is supportive she wishes that they both lived in the same situation so their friendship can be intact.
Please,i note,the words used-breeze,wind stand for healing and words like tears would definitely stand for pain,the pillow like the world would look for comfort from places they may not find it.
Just to sum up,i must say its a technical story with much hidden meaning and with quite a number of faces.
It also has a very technical way of blending it with the bible and it can be read very comfortably with all kinds of people,thanks.

With all the distractions and peer pressure, it must be hard to give children a good start at life. Fortunately, except for one case, my brothers and sisters have not had any real trouble with their children, even though there were some severe problems like a genetic agoraphobia strain in the family. Makes me glad in some ways, that I don't have children and the problems that arise.

I never watched sitcoms much, but it was a way for comics to make more money than just doing stand up. Bill Cosby is the genius behind a change in the way we look at family. Like Denzel Washington today, he always set a good example.
A very thorough and wonderful tribute.
Two other shows come to mind. Sanford and Son and Soul Train.

You are write Judy,young men and ladies have the biggest problem,but do you know what...They are looking for an identity,they are empty and it should be clear when someone is empty will need something to fill them and that's why others will go for drugs,some for illicit relations etc just to feel the emptiness in them,so whats readily available will be the stuff to be taken and the world has all around the and this is why the Christians will have to work even more harder.
200 belts were bought by some politician to help sensitise the people who sag,that a lie,its all about values,they need the real thing its not only the west its serious here,the African culture never allowed such but its now here with us.
I am afraid about the next fashion,because what is there at the moment is serious so am like if this what is there where shall we look when the next one arrives,they are about to walk necked,but do they have parents-its about values not belts,in any case the have enough money to buy belts.
We have to rise up and find something readily available for the empty ones we say-Values(Heart position).

Right on, Judy! PANTS ON THE GROUND...makes you look foolish. Judy is telling it right ! It is not the way to present yourself if you want to be successful in society. If you want to send a message -- How about wearing some "African black cultural garb" -- like a daishiki or coofi hat. A lot of young people don't know the origins of this droopy-pants style: It started in PRISON...which was a way to indicate..."available for sex." When I was young, my parents told me not to deal with the guys who looked tacky and kept doo-rags on the hair. Appearance reflects what's on your mind.
