Looks like a fitting sequel. Sins and secrets are always intriguing to the reader.

I like the excerpt. I can see Mason's reluctance to have the deal with this bitter/sweet opportunities/curse that is thrust upon him. The video is also very good… Much better than many that I've seen with a lot of drama, but no substance.
I have two cousins who are brain-damaged when hit by cars when they were still very young, 11 and 14, causing great anguish for their mothers. Both are married but have suffered long-term consequences.
I have been in assisted living, my own, hiring caregivers, for the last 28 years, in my small house. Believe me, even on a frugal budget, it is very expensive and will take all of my saving from a lifetime of work, to continue to live without having to go into group home with old people with all kinds of physical and mental problems… Many unable to communicate and a staff that will not be like my caregivers, hired by me.
Unfortunately, I have long list of books I promised to read and can't get to them. From your Amazon reviews, I see you are doing very well with your books, so I believe you will receive the success you deserve.
