I recall a couple at my college. He was very tall and she was very short. They were quite a sight on the dance floor with a hugging him close her nose about naval high on his abdomen. I didn't know their names or them personally, so don't know if that relationship lasted beyond college.
My 4 foot 11 high school friend who was as near a genius as I've ever known, told me recently about his struggle with being short. Finally found a local girl, a nurse, to be his wife after college. She was slightly shorter than him. He is now a great-grandfather.

Every old man's dream. I had to quit running at 20 when my legs were partially paralyzed during surgery. But I fondly remember running… Not for the girls that it attracted, but for the way that it made me feel and the ground that I could cover within my vision in a short as 15 minutes. Just being out there in the great outdoors, not worrying about my diet, my food or my regimen like so many runners seem to do today, but just enjoying the exhilaration and joy of running outdoors and all kinds of weather. Still miss that so much.
