While I'm glad that he finally found peace with God, yet I was heartbroken for his young children. They are just too young to be without any parents. His daughter's words broke my heart today at the memorial, I was crying my eyes out for Michael and his children.

I like the moment captured in all its miraculous mystery. I live in South Georgia where it has only snowed once and this reminds me of the first time I ever saw snow for Christmas. It was like catching the lotto and it actually didn't taste bad. Ofcourse we had to eat it to see if snow was all that! I'll have to say it was. Perhaps we too are like snow. Wow! What a tremendous out pouring of raw emotions. Written so superbly. I think most people have wounds that linger long, heal slowly, and always leave a telltale scar. Thankfuly for most of us, those scars become the steps of the ladder in our climb that leads to our view of understanding and forgiveness. I fell the pain and raw emotion in your poem. Bravo! In the midst of most restful slumber, they come clambering. Chatting boisterously to awaken me. In myoclonic jerk I rise straight up in my bed. Words whirling in the esoteric parlance of Erato and Polymnia. The Muses have little consideration for the needs of mere mortals. Especially, nocturnal slumber. Light, turn on the light. I cannot write in this pitch darkness. Would you please visit in the light of day. You Muses need not when I am abed, to come and play. They are rascals, are they not? Again bravo! I love it!
