My late hubby Tom Christensen, also from NJ like you, took me to Bermuda in 1997 and we saw a lizard on the wall outside the dining room of Hotel Belmont. The Belmont has been torn down too, but it was his father's favorite place to stay when visiting Bermuda. Tom wanted me to see it too. This lizard poem reminded me of that vacation with Tom, never to be taken again with him He is dead now.

We surely do have some wicked thunderstorms here in PA this summer. Had a very short one yesterday, just roared and roared and then passed over without much rain and sun came out again. Good descriptive write here.

Ray, life is so short and we get caught up in the fast-lane of life and miss out on so many important things that we've loved dearly. We cannot take back lost time and important matters but one thing for sure we can look forward to the day we meet our Lord or Lord one day.
