Ahh the old trappers, those days seem to be gone. Glad I was able to learn from them. I feel somewhat guilty for the furs taken in my youth. Seemed like the thing to do with your dad and grandfather. My kids know nothing about hunting or trapping or calling, probably due to growing up in the city- I feel they have missed so much, although they have benefited in other ways. I love the outdoors and crave it, still- having grown up in rural Ohio Valley, maybe that's why I never feel alone or scared outdoors. I feel invigorated! Nice article Ron.
