I'm not a religious person, Doug, and hardly ever comment on poetry which "preaches" said religion. However, in this poem of yours you spoke of things other than being so heavily religious. Even so, the first half of your well-written poem you talked of how to understand and relate to treating people with love and care. So even when you began to tell us about God and the Christ child, it was so much easier to deal with because of how you paved the way toward in a simple, but very informative way. Good job. Hope I made sense.
