I absolutely love the sentiments behind this. I think it's a powerful poem to motivate us to remember things we might otherwise have forgotten. The translation is a bit awkward in some places, but I think I understand it. I'll message you further thoughts about it. --Charlie

Translation, maybe, but very well translated-- reads beautifully in English. I would change the "prey" in line 4 with "pray" though. Otherwise, the mother sounds like a monster, rather than a mentor.
Interesting analogy-- behaving like a flower-- something you work hard for, and a harvest that lasts many meals over...
