If you like a good political sci-fi thriller like the Matrix, V for Vendetta, Equilibrium and Escape from New York this is the book for you. I went to the Fractured Athena Rising website and listened to some of the music as I read the book which really put me there along with the characters. I can see this book as a movie. I look forward to reading the second edition. Don't miss out on reading this book!

Normally... the creative mind can do anything. When I write stories, my characters would often create their own lives, and I would be the one that tags along. LOL!!!!! It's strange, but true!

While this superb piece appears to be more of an article about your passion for writing than a short story, it proves your superior writing ability and understanding of how writers create. While you seem to focus on stories of characters, my focus has been on events with characters caught up in them. I believe your approach appeals to readers more than mine. If you don't get famous on your own right, perhaps an author of the notoriety of Stephen King or James Patterson will contact you to spill your characters onto the page for them to be a ghost writer for their empires.
I too find that when I have a good story in my head (generally not characters but an idea for some interesting twist in events) I find that I have to write as fast as I can to finish the story before it escapes my thoughts.

I'm not into romance, but I am into true stories. Yours is refreshingly well-written compared to others that I've read here. And this particular memory seems to have much significance in your life because it is so personal and detailed. I don't recall experiences like that with women that I've known with such intensity.
I see you have several novels. If they are as well-written as this story, I hope that many will read your books.
