Please, folks. "Modify Destiny" is a work of "fiction". It is not the author's intent to prove or disprove anything about the UFO phenomenon. Few people believe in vampires either, but there are tons of books about vampires on the market.

I like non-dystopian science fiction. I really believe that's the way the future is going, especially if we make intelligent decisions as we shape it.
But I don't like UFOs. They are just that, identified objects in the sky. A high school friend whose career in the Air Force involved surveillance of land, sea, air and space through all surveillance devices, combined, has assured me that most of the incidents that hit the papers were well known by the team that he managed and provided to the military and the White House. He told me that there were no mysterious lights in the sky that were not explained either by man-made or natural phenomenon.
As far as human experiences go, We all know that eyewitness accounts are often wrong and the result of fear, insanity or great imagination. But there's a lot of fodder for weird novels good luck with yours.
