The Abduction of Adam Danik is a 'must read' for anyone involved personally, professionally and /or associated with anyone in the process of divorce and custody issues. Through the main character, Jack Danik, the author's dialogue compels you to feel the desperation, frustration, anger and pain of Jack Danik and his son. It leaves the 'unsettling' question as to 'who' really is concerned about the 'best interest' of the children of divorce? The ending...poignant!

Sir, I salute your parents and family and the wonderful contribution they made to our country. This was absolutely beautiful, however it did make me a bit mad because it was so short. Please consider writing a novel or novellete based on your family at that time. I love the WWII era and would love to read more of your work. Happy 70th!

I know that a mother's love stands most all things, and this must have been so hard on her. It probably explains how she has hung in there with her health condition and at her age. She forgot to add one very important angel which is HER! This makes you want to thank God for every healthy person in your life that you love.

Boys will be boys, but boys do make mistakes just like adults do and I think you handled Jonathan in a firm, but compassionate way instead of beating his ass like his friends' parents did to them. The thought process is exactly what he needed....and you gave him something to do and plenty of time to think about the consequences of his actions. Time-out never works, but time-out with something to do does work! Another great story about fatherhood!

All those horse rules went right out the stall window! And I loved how your friend solved the problem so Jonathan could have a friend horse to ride.

You dad was so cool for his age and he knew you needed some slack and made sure you got it even though your mom was completely against it....I wonder if he ever told her the truth! Ha! Probably not! Another great read!

This turned out to be a camping trip from hell....you poor thing...I'm sorry, but I laughed my butt off when you couldn't rinse the soap off yourself! You are a marvelous story-teller. You've got my vote! Too bad this can't be printed in a national newspaper for all the good-for-nothing politicians to read. They probably wouldn't even notice as they would be on the goft course spending our tax dollars and living the good life as we citizens struggle from week to week wondering how we can feed our families and even afford the gas to get us to work.

This is a wonderful, heartfelt story that's so true to life itself. We never know what someone has endured in their life, but we must open our hearts with love and kindness.....that's what Ron did for Dixie, but the pain Dixie felt in her heart over losing her own son would never go away. Thanks to Ron, Dixie experienced true love friendship before she took her own life...that was the only way she could end her pain. I was in tears at the end of this story. Thanks for sharing this story! I hope it touches the hearts of everyone who reads it.
