A lovely story and I am glad it had a happy new beginning for Ebony. I had a black persian by that name, unfortunately he overheard me and my husband talking about taking him to the vet, he had a weepy eye, and he ran out the door at the first opportunity, not being a street wise cat he was killed crossing the road.
