Full of metaphorical physicality. Pleasant to read and easily understood.

Nelle (Poetry) - 12/10/2012 12:33:30 PM
Your lament is well taken, Shawn. The types and shadows here remind me of my (now departed) Mother. Though her main gift was concert vocalist, she was also a prolific writer for several years. Everything she wrote, though, she burned. No one was privy to a word of it. One of the greatest mysteries in my life. Blessings ... richard

Powerful commentary on the nature of someone who would write, To Kill a Mockingbird, and then never write another novel. I can think of several authors who were one-hit wonders. I think the nature of the New York publishing house's editors made it difficult for authors to write other work that came up to their masterwork.
I didn't know “that suck would be the nature of your (Harper Lee's) creativity. ;-)
I hope you find his lost work.

I am trying to wrap my mind around the gist of this, but I can't. there is a lot of pain in it, and I sense some real tragedy, but it still eludes me.

Salvare (from, Morsels) (Poetry) - 10/13/2011 9:54:09 AM
Bits and bites, a morsel of bread, or perhaps (metaphorically) this small piece of someones life changing hands and becoming a treasure of sorts, in a round-a-bout way. And in the soles, the unspoken memories of where that person tread in their search for happiness, and success, and the essentials that make life worthwhile, and, too, the lingering mysteries of why, and what, and where, and who. I enjoy the heterogeneous elements of double entendre in this . Peace and continued inspiration ... richard

What an in depth depiction from the yesterday to the today, emotions running high with a hint of resolution, well scripted...
Be always safe,
