I like the borrowed concept of servant leadership from Stephen Covey and Executive Excellence magazine (although I am currently still more aligned with the earlier idea of "transformational leadership" model). I was wondering what you thought of my idea of eliminating the unknowable notion of "intentionality" from the criminal justice system, especially in sentencing based on the severity of the crime and consequences alone? I have a Vietnam buddy doing 50 years in a NY prison for attempted murder of a drug dealer, because his "intentionality" was aggravated, being a police officer and former military police officer, held to a higher standard.
