It's good to see disabled heroines in novels, in this case, since Perry Mason (I never watched that show). I don't like courtroom dramas. Even though I once said that I could, "find anybody," I found it difficult to make a case against my employer for insidious discrimination under ADA.
I was paraplegic for 30 years (not in the usual sense because it was my hands and arms that were paralyzed and not my legs). For the last 20 years, my legs have become involved as well and I am in an electric wheelchair. While I still drive, most of the time alone, my life is very restricted and I am unable to travel freely like I used to while many who are paraplegic can.
That said, Pen seems like an unlikely "action" heroine. So, I have to assume that she uses her legal wiles to solve the mystery of what happened to her nephew. During the 30 years I passed for "normal" I avoided fights because I knew that one blow could end my life from the weak area in my spine.
An excerpt from the book--I post five chapters--would be helpful in determining more about Windfall. I see your books have received numerous positive reviews on Amazon.

i am brians 2 cousin i havent met him in a long time but his book is wonderful it was so good that i forgot it wasnt real this is the best book ever written
