I enjoyed your tale of Muddy Mutts Acres, and I hope it brings you many years of happiness. And Kudos to both you and your hubby for taking in those abandoned animals. I only have mutts and mixed breed cats myself, and they truly are the best pets anyone could ever hope for.

It is a sad state, no doubt, but it has more to do with a growing population than progress. If people would stop making babies, there wouldn't be a need to build in places that used to be farms. ~ Sara

Being illuded that progress is something positive, it is not. We had a stable just up the street and I so enjoyed walking over from time to time and to see the horses with their riders prancing around in the field behind us, but it is all gone now and a housing development has been built, another association surrounded in brick walls. All I can see now is the roof tops and the sky, no more the sound of horses to wake up to. You have captured the moment well....
