Casey Anthony is a psychopath if you ask my opinion. Her parents had to know this. She is self absorbed and a pathological liar which leads to another concern of mine. Why would you as a mother (grandmother) allow this person to raise a child. I agree that the media is infatuated with this story due to the soap opera effect, but I also think it's because as Americans we do have morals about family ethics. Under God in something our country holds in everything political or likewise and for a mother to not have the values and morals of the majority of Americans it's unnerving to us as a society. You either have good attention for your contributes to society or negative attention for your failures to society which is what we all believe Casey Anthony has done. Failed her daughter and us.

I've been following this case too. I agree with everything you said.
I've so hoped that zanny had taken the girl, or even that Casy had sold her--so there would be a way of retrieving her. No such luck.
I can't believe there won't be a trial. I think the public will demand it. (alhtough the public hasn't anything to say about it--but the media will certainly not hold their tongues)
I don't know if Casy will confess. Maybe they will use the death penalty as bait.
