Quite a rant about human nature. I don't know about forgiveness. But I guess it does help those psychologically impaired by events they can't control.

Forgiveness is primarily for the one forgiving; it frees them from the prison they put themselves in by not forgiving. Good message and imagery. Thanks for sharing. rlc

Hi Kristen,I enjoy reading this poem very much.I live in NYC and when 9/11 happened,it was one of the saddest days ever in my city and throughout the rest of the country.Throughout all the tragedy on that day,we came out on top and showed the whole world what our human spirit,the human AMERICAN spirit is all about.All that I heard on the news on that day was unity and togetherness like I have never seen before and probably would never see again in my lifetime.I wish everyday was like that in terms of gathering people from all different backgrounds,ethnicities,ages,and races to join a cause that is much larger than ourselves.Take good care

Sometimes there are no words to express the feelings, emotions locked up inside, yet you have done justice to a day we will never forget. God bless....

This is very well written and describes the feelings and emotions we felt after that horrible day. I do have one suggestion. The print is very small and difficult to read. It's worth it, but a lot of people may skip it because of size, and that would be a shame.
