I think it is quite a coincedence that an Electra Hamilton from Little Creek is used as a character in Summer Heat given that is my name and where I am from.

Kudos to J.A. Clarke. Her futuristic romance, Moonfire, has it all - terrific characters, a passionate love story, adventure, conspiracy, mystery, and abundant humor. I was engaged from the first sentence.
The story begins in a climbing gym where Joanna Chase, a young and very independent minded earth woman hired as senior negotiator for the planet Treaine, first meets handsome Alex Mariltar, Commander of the Seventh Fleet. From Joanna's perspective this first encounter might have gone better had she not been stuck swinging helplessly upside down in mid air! I found Moonfire delightful and highly recommend it!
