The Horror (Short Story) - 10/7/2025 3:47:22 AM
Enjoyed! Wouldn’t expect anything less

The Horror (Short Story) - 10/6/2025 8:39:30 AM
An evil miasmic creature that brings spine tingling terror and death. I love woodland too but it can induce fear when everything goes silent, no birds singing etc I have experienced that once when taking a walk through a Pine forest alone, I felt like I was being watched and followed by someone or something so I ran like hell and even raced across a shallow rocky bedded river to get back to the campsite. Reminds me I need to finish a story I started back in 1980 . . . I think I scared myself with it!

The Horror (Short Story) - 11/18/2024 12:38:54 PM
That would give the little kiddies nightmares. So much for the friendly forest. Ron

The Horror (Short Story) - 10/28/2024 3:07:57 AM
A foreboding story with mystery and suspense. Just enough to raise the hairs on the back of one's neck.

The Stars (Poetry) - 9/6/2026 2:55:32 AM
Well said, I understand and feel your poem. Very moving. Thank you for sharing your poem with me. David Clure

I Dare Not Think (Poetry) - 9/3/2026 11:34:47 PM
I understand where your words are going and I know love has it's twist and turns, nevertheless what's meant to be will be. Lovely words you have shared. Rose

Come take my hand (Poetry) - 9/3/2026 1:00:13 AM
A love that's meant to be, forever and ever until the end of time. No getting away from what's meant to be. Beautiful. Rose

Nightsky (Poetry) - 9/3/2026 12:55:07 AM
True love can't be stopped with that special love potion, so have no fear, it's coming near. Lovely poem Elizabeth. Thank you for sharing. Rose

Nightsky (Poetry) - 8/29/2026 1:08:05 AM
Nice to see you posting! Speaking of a night sky we were supposed to see a lunar eclipse and it was too cloudy but earlier in the evening a beautiful full moon.

Nightsky (Poetry) - 8/28/2026 7:03:09 PM
I read that in spite of your fear, the full moon and your love can't be stopped. Ron

I Dare Not Think (Poetry) - 8/17/2026 1:16:55 PM
Rather hauntingly tender, creating a beautiful dreamlike place of sunbeams, moonbeams and still waters, yet underneath it all is the fear of losing something precious. Oftentimes, what we dare not think about is presactly what occupies our mind.

I Dare Not Think (Poetry) - 7/9/2026 5:00:21 AM
A deep and moving poem,I can relate to it.

I Dare Not Think (Poetry) - 6/8/2026 3:38:11 PM
Well expressed. Love always comes with pain -- the pain of loss or the pain of betrayal.

I Dare Not Think (Poetry) - 6/6/2026 11:41:37 AM
I sense much concern that love may be fleeting or turn. With an open heart, I don't think you can go wrong. Ron

The Stars (Poetry) - 3/15/2026 3:03:32 PM
Follow your own stars. Beautifully expressed.

The Stars (Poetry) - 3/15/2026 12:19:52 PM
Your poem seems to be directed towards someone who may be trying to manipulate you. But watching your stars, is in your stars, and cannot be changed by anyone wishing to reel you in to theirs. Ron

The Stars (Poetry) - 3/15/2026 6:19:40 AM
Beautilful poem

Slaying The Past (Poetry) - 2/21/2026 11:50:08 AM
I believe Ron has it down perfect., Thank you for sharing. Rose

Slaying The Past (Poetry) - 2/16/2026 12:16:38 PM
Very emotional and telling. They say that as time passes we tend to forget the bad and remember the good. But the life lesson remains and teaches us what not to do again. Ron

Don’t Stop Believing (Poetry) - 1/9/2026 2:27:27 PM
Free to dream is a wonderful thing. I never stop believing. Rose

Heavenly Bodies (Poetry) - 1/9/2026 2:22:48 PM

Heavenly Bodies (Poetry) - 10/25/2025 7:47:33 AM
We were born of them and we need them. Especially the light and warmth of the sun. A very loving perspective as opposed to the cold hard View of science. Ron

Heavenly Bodies (Poetry) - 10/24/2025 3:58:57 PM
Very sweet

Crystal Ball (Poetry) - 10/14/2025 4:58:05 PM
Great write Elizabeth. I believe we all have one of those crystal balls. Rose

Crystal Ball (Poetry) - 10/9/2025 8:33:44 AM
You're right about the crystal ball. It always seems to reflect what we want. But we should get what we need, no more. Ron

The Flame (Poetry) - 9/29/2025 5:23:05 PM
Too hot to handle!

Don’t Stop Believing (Poetry) - 9/29/2025 5:20:32 PM
Dreaming is a good thing!

The Flame (Poetry) - 9/28/2025 8:55:30 AM
When it's hot you must let it out! Ron

Don’t Stop Believing (Poetry) - 9/18/2025 1:53:00 PM
Yes, continuing to believe will find you throwing off the shackles and become free to dream. Ron

Your loss, my win (Poetry) - 9/18/2025 9:01:47 AM
I think that is how we all should think, staying focus on moving ahead without having to look back. Rose

A love so pure and so free (Poetry) - 9/18/2025 8:57:43 AM
I must say Elisabeth your words are of such a love that do take one's breath away. Excellent write that you have shared. Rose

The Stalker (Poetry) - 8/19/2025 2:23:11 PM
The consensus says that stalkers are bad. This comes from the sensational news about stalkers that hurt people, either physically or simply mentally. But for a brief time, when I was infatuated as a youth, I would seek out the girl of my dreams until she rejected me. The test you referred to. Nothing ever comes from being meek and in the shadows. One has to come out into the open and make a gesture…" Would you like to go out with me on Friday night?" Ron BTW that playful photo makes you look like a cute dog waiting for someone to throw a piece of meat.

Promises (Poetry) - 8/18/2025 1:26:38 PM
Promises that are kept are the best. I can truthfully say that I made some promises, very few, that I didn't keep. It helps from having regrets for things undone. Ron

Beautiful Chaos (Poetry) - 8/3/2025 10:24:02 AM
That's a great attitude to have towards chaos. Ron

When Angels Fall From The Sky (Poetry) - 6/10/2025 2:41:06 PM
Beautiful words and I am sure he is flying from one rock to the other, watching over you and I don't believe in hell either.

When Angels Fall From The Sky (Poetry) - 4/2/2025 2:13:32 PM
I think you miss him. Ron

Blindfolded by the Night (Poetry) - 3/2/2025 12:17:39 PM
It's good to see you posting again. This one is really somewhat of an expression of going blindly into something and then being trapped by it with that final line. Ron

Pieces (Poetry) - 10/15/2024 12:06:40 PM
I can relate, Elisabeth; and I appreciate the philosophical perspective that you have shared through your verses. Love, peace, and best wishes to you, Regis.

Pieces (Poetry) - 8/13/2024 9:44:45 AM
Beautifully penned, Elisabeth. It is a big universe and we are trapped in this small body of flesh. Thought provoking write.

Yours from the start (Poetry) - 7/23/2024 8:51:16 PM
Yes, I can relate to this one. Love the flow to this one....[[|:-)

Pieces (Poetry) - 7/23/2024 1:00:34 PM
We are all trying to put the pieces together. Your poem shares that with everyone. It is difficult to find a good partner in life. One of the best ways is not to spend too much time worrying about it or trying to find one when one might be there all along. The only line that disturbed me was "avoid the assault?" Ron

Your loss, my win (Poetry) - 6/29/2024 8:07:56 PM
Your positive thinking is on steroids! Nothing can stop a moving train! Keep on keeping on, Elisabeth!

Your loss, my win (Poetry) - 6/11/2024 2:25:53 PM
Glad you were able to seize every opportunity and not look back. By continuing to move forward illustrated by that rough bath downward to paradise, you are on the right track. Ron

Your loss, my win (Poetry) - 6/10/2024 11:56:01 AM
You could be a rebel from Star Wars with that kind of mantra....[[|:-)

Path of the Willow tree (Poetry) - 5/30/2024 12:52:30 PM
This poem really captures the back and forth, hope and doubt of living life and trying to make wise decisions. I've felt it so many times myself! Thanks for sharing this poem of yours.

Yours from the start (Poetry) - 5/21/2024 8:38:54 AM
Particularly when we are young, there is, sometimes that undeniable attraction that occurs between 2 people that may or may not last a lifetime. Your poem speaks well of that occurrence. Consider yourself lucky. Ron

Path of the Willow tree (Poetry) - 5/13/2024 12:14:27 PM
I can see you have devoted some time to this poem of struggle and attempt to reach a better life by changing. One of the hardest things for us to do as we get older and change becomes harder and harder to accomplish. The twisted tree trunks look almost human. A very good selection to illustrate your poem. Ron

From the Ashes Risen (Poetry) - 5/9/2024 10:47:34 AM
You reveal much of yourself here. I wish you well in your quest to thrive. r

From the Ashes Risen (Poetry) - 5/9/2024 9:12:36 AM
A brilliant ladder to success, one word at a time. Loved reading every word of your conviction to turn your life around and make it better. Bravo! Ron

Come take my hand (Poetry) - 5/8/2024 11:36:18 AM
Very romantic. To me, love (relationships) are like snowflakes. Each one is unique and usually beautiful at the start, at least. At times sadly, life and this world's ways get in the way and spoil things. Love, peace, and best wishes to you, Elisabeth, Regis. 🙏🌺

Come take my hand (Poetry) - 4/19/2024 1:48:21 PM
You are describing a perfect match. Is there really one? Ron

The Screen (Poetry) - 3/16/2024 9:40:47 AM
We all have an inner eye where we view our dreams. Sometimes what we see is surreal rather than real. But we learn from every image as our thoughts are rearranged. Your poem suggests a dream relationship gone awry (insane). Ron

The Screen (Poetry) - 3/15/2024 3:12:42 PM
Love or life or eyes on the screen? That's how I read this poem. Maybe we're beginning to question all the time we stare at the screens?

A Rose for You (Poetry) - 3/1/2024 8:08:45 AM
And may all your wishes come true!

A Rose for You (Poetry) - 2/26/2024 9:42:58 AM
A wonderful Valentine wish. I especially like the last two lines. Ron

A Rose for You (Poetry) - 2/24/2024 6:36:38 PM
When you set a goal for love, its always a big beautiful fire. Gl

The scepter to your crown (Poetry) - 2/18/2024 6:47:01 PM

The scepter to your crown (Poetry) - 2/17/2024 8:15:05 AM
Yes, the subconscious bring about the most beautiful of dreams. So glad you have left the dark behind as your poem suggests. What a lovely bride you made. it's all in that fabulous smile. Ron

The scepter to your crown (Poetry) - 2/17/2024 7:36:18 AM
Lovely. All blessings to you and yours.

The scepter to your crown (Poetry) - 2/16/2024 11:08:12 AM
Beautiful poem, and a splendid picture. Lucky fellow.

This open heart of joy (Poetry) - 1/3/2024 10:52:19 AM
I will simply "echo" Ron's sentiments as mine mirror his. Love, peace, and blessings to you, Elisabeth, Regis. 🙏🌸🎵😍

As the night grow darker (Poetry) - 12/31/2023 2:27:01 AM
Such an alluring poem. And inviting. Where wise men never go. They say.

As the night grow darker (Poetry) - 12/24/2023 2:08:00 PM
Elisabeth I can feel your pain and anguish in this heart wringing and poignant poem. Trust no one in this world. Peter

As the night grow darker (Poetry) - 12/7/2023 1:51:53 PM
An intriguing poem, Elisabeth. Thanks for sharing!

As the night grow darker (Poetry) - 12/7/2023 12:41:48 PM
Set those sails and sail away to where you need to be. Heart touching poem, Elisabeth.

This open heart of joy (Poetry) - 11/29/2023 11:59:21 AM
Beautifully expressed and wonderful to read. If only everyone followed that kind of opened heartedness what a wonderful world it would be. Ron

Precious little droplets (Poetry) - 11/18/2023 4:42:52 PM
Sounds like a very beautiful altruistic dream that deserves to be revealed and accepted Elisabeth with an open heart :)

Precious little droplets (Poetry) - 11/18/2023 1:07:52 PM
Makes me think and wonder what will be or even how it will be. Ron

Driven by justice (Poetry) - 9/20/2023 10:37:48 AM
A different point of view from your usual poem. I sensed a lot of concern about how we treat one another in the way you've written this. Once again, the clash between good and evil. Ron

Adrift among the stars (Poetry) - 9/15/2023 2:27:35 PM
Quite a journey through life you have expressed. Ron

Forever (Poetry) - 9/12/2023 8:43:18 AM
Perfectly put! Diana… 🌿

To make a rainbow (Poetry) - 9/9/2023 8:54:07 AM
Truly evocative and meaningful verses, Elisabeth. Love, peace, and best wishes to you, Regis. 🙏🌸🌈

Forever (Poetry) - 9/9/2023 8:52:34 AM
Succinct but compelling in emotion expressed. Love, peace, and blessings to you, Elisabeth. Regis 🙏🌸🦋🐬🌲🌳

Forever (Poetry) - 9/3/2023 8:00:21 AM
Glad you have found the one and only. But as an identical twin, you would never find me in the arms of my twin brother. ;-) Ron

To make a rainbow (Poetry) - 9/2/2023 9:13:34 AM
I've heard of making a silk purse out of a sow's ear, but your poem turning tears into rainbows and knife cuts into beauty marks takes the prize. It helps to keep a positive imagination when faced with adversity. Another way of saying it is to always look at your morning coffee cup as being half full rather than half empty. Ron

The last sweet thing I see (Poetry) - 8/24/2023 7:54:20 AM
Let us hope that we all stay together long enough for that final goodbye. Ron

The last sweet thing I see (Poetry) - 8/23/2023 5:34:29 PM
Lots of beautiful heart and soul in this Elisabeth. Thank you for the read):

Across the waves (Poetry) - 8/16/2023 10:28:36 AM
This was about how whales communicate, but as I read further, I sensed a bit of anger about something could be let go of now that seas separation from him. Ron

Gone without a trace (Poetry) - 8/16/2023 7:11:59 AM
Passionate and painful! This is an engaging write, Elisabeth. Love, peace and best wishes to you, Regis. 🙏🌸💖🐬

Gone without a trace (Poetry) - 8/14/2023 5:44:32 PM
Quite savage reading. Enslavement is not a thing we should ever be tied too. And no one, I repeat no one, is worth that kind of pain. Peter

Gone without a trace (Poetry) - 8/13/2023 12:04:52 PM
Sad to read. Obsession is not love, although it may seem like love. When a perception becomes compulsion it is enslavement. And it takes a lot of courage to break free. Ron

I am me (Poetry) - 8/12/2023 7:06:24 AM
A very good attitude to have; perhaps others should learn this insight.

Ancient Arts (Poetry) - 8/7/2023 3:18:32 PM
Yes! I agree. Love is a treasure for sure but it can be a complicated process. Love, peace, and best wishes to you, Elisabeth. Regis 🙏🌸🦋

Ancient Arts (Poetry) - 8/4/2023 11:39:39 AM
The most intriguing is the ancient art of falling in love. When you're in love nothing else really matters. Great poem, Elisabeth! Sandie

Ancient Arts (Poetry) - 8/3/2023 8:48:32 AM
I find the poem uplifting except on the last stanza where I'm confused about the meaning of the words, ancient arts. Ron

Need to Nurture (Poetry) - 7/29/2023 10:50:49 AM
Some good advice as well as a way of life we all should emulate. Ron

Need to Nurture (Poetry) - 7/29/2023 7:27:24 AM
Beautifully crafted, Many people have the need to nurture, but few can express it in this fine manner.

Need to Nurture (Poetry) - 7/28/2023 2:54:46 PM
You seem to be a free spirit who knows where her priorities, lie, I admire you for that. Really enjoyed this poem, thank you :)

Need to Nurture (Poetry) - 7/28/2023 7:14:46 AM
A great poem! Never change that good quality in you because it makes you happy. Sandie

Head on (Poetry) - 7/26/2023 1:16:13 AM
Ron! I don’t believe in supressing emotions. I believe in learning to recognize them. And with each time they rear their ugly heads I can learn something new from it. With each time they become easier to recognize and vanquish until next time they are awakened. But then again, the memories I’m talking about are from severe mental and physical abuse and have left scars within me that wont go away.

Head on (Poetry) - 7/25/2023 11:43:15 AM
It is probably better to lose bad memories and leave them behind. Lose ourselves into a better future for everyone. Ron

As the shadows are closing in (Poetry) - 7/23/2023 10:08:33 AM
Ron! The shadows must close in, in order for us to see them for what they are and let them mingle with the light, to create strength in balance.

As the shadows are closing in (Poetry) - 7/23/2023 9:27:12 AM
Yes, a blessing to leave worries behind. But there is something dark about "the shadows closing in." Ron

As the shadows are closing in (Poetry) - 7/22/2023 7:25:07 PM
isn't it wonderful when we can see clearly like this Elisabeth, your poetry is clear as a bell love it :)

Crave me (Poetry) - 7/22/2023 9:27:18 AM
Wow! Powerful, passionate and emotive. Love, peace, and best wishes to you, Elisabeth. Regis 🙏🦋🌲💚🌳

Crave me (Poetry) - 7/22/2023 8:20:43 AM
"Take my beating heart in hand" is a little bit too intense, but certainly very passionate. Ron

Crave me (Poetry) - 7/20/2023 4:06:01 PM
Attack is always the best form of defence. You reach the heights of unmitigated passion and romance here. Peter

Crave me (Poetry) - 7/20/2023 11:23:25 AM
I like that title, it pulls you in. Nice work!

Like a butterfly (Poetry) - 7/17/2023 8:50:39 AM
There is a tree, quaking aspen, that is named that way because of the way the leaves seem to shake when in even a light breeze. I imagined the amazing flight of the butterflies I see, seemingly so random, and yet they get to where they want to go. The wounded bird still calling out to its flock, letting them know what happened in bird language. Only have driven on brick streets, a rough ride, but not as rough as I imagine cobblestones. Ron

Break free (Poetry) - 7/15/2023 10:00:49 AM
What a wonderful poem of inspiration! Short and to the point. Akin to the Beatles's "relax and float downstream." One of your very best. Ron

You are my King (Poetry) - 7/11/2023 6:41:42 PM
Ah, such a romantic poem filled with beauty and hope Elisabeth

You are my King (Poetry) - 7/10/2023 2:29:55 PM
Nothing like a great relationship expressed so well. I can see it in your loving eyes. Ron

Forgotten (Poetry) - 7/9/2023 11:08:15 PM
Interesting story that leaves the reader pondering what led to this situation and the banishment. Fee

Rebellious heart (Poetry) - 7/9/2023 8:22:57 AM
I don't think we can help thinking about something we can't obtain. It can haunt us if we let it. But you let it out in this poem. Ron

On the brink of paradise (Poetry) - 7/8/2023 9:24:06 AM
I love that line, "no one diss." An everlasting love song. You make a lovely couple. I haven't seen a man wearing a hat since the 1950s. Ron

On the brink of paradise (Poetry) - 7/7/2023 6:44:50 AM
Very nicely stated. Fee

All in (Poetry) - 7/6/2023 12:19:55 PM
I like the steadiness of the rhythms and rhymes to convey your meaning in this one, very controlled and measured.

All in (Poetry) - 7/6/2023 5:47:53 AM
Very passionate and intense, can almost feel the heat coming off your words. Fee

Love is (Poetry) - 7/3/2023 2:36:35 PM
Frame it hang it on the wall. Very nice work!!

Love is (Poetry) - 7/3/2023 7:55:01 AM
This is the best poem I've read from you. You have fully described the power of love to overcome all of logic's failures and the forces of evil trying to tear down society that only wants to love. Kudos! Ron

Love is (Poetry) - 7/3/2023 3:14:10 AM
It is the reason most of us live... Fee

Love is (Poetry) - 7/2/2023 6:57:13 PM
Love is the bringer of all that is worthy and most treasured in ones life, you say it with so much passion and eloquence. Thankyou for sharing this Elisabeth.

Fire and flames (Poetry) - 7/1/2023 7:55:44 PM
I can see your passion and desires in your words and there is something to be said for both. HOpe you find the solution and the heart that beats just for you. Fee

Fire and flames (Poetry) - 7/1/2023 10:27:27 AM
Not that kind of fire and flame Ron. I’m writing about passion and being drawn to it like a moth to the flame.

Fire and flames (Poetry) - 7/1/2023 8:39:32 AM
You seem to begin with a kind of serenity of reaching a point where you are nowhere close to the fire you once imagined while struggling to survive it. But as the poem moves on it seems like you are moving back into the flame or being drawn there by underwater currents because you can't help the excitement of not knowing what will happen. Ron

Change (Poetry) - 6/29/2023 10:43:17 AM
Metaphorically, the change you describe was certainly "burning" your bridges behind you using all those scorching words to describe it. In the end you are truly, cleansed by fire. Ron

Change (Poetry) - 6/28/2023 4:14:17 PM
Sometimes we just have to walk away, lick our wounds and hope for the future... Fee

Because of this our roads must part (Poetry) - 6/25/2023 6:35:34 PM
Interesting write and a break away from your normally postitive love poetry...hope all is well. Fee

Because of this our roads must part (Poetry) - 6/25/2023 12:21:01 PM
I have traveled the road of your liking and always found it to be friendly and open. But I have found others who seem to travel the road of discontent and are never happy or adventurous. There seems to be no changing them in their unhappiness. They thrive on. While I find it dismal and down dragging Ron.

Be the mountains, moon and the stars (Poetry) - 6/21/2023 11:09:17 AM
Very nice, especially love the line "be the preacher of love and light", Fee

Be the mountains, moon and the stars (Poetry) - 6/21/2023 9:02:45 AM
While I can't imagine you ever having inner scars, especially emotional ones, you have a beautiful way of expressing how one can leave them behind for a better life. Your poems are beautifully written and inspirational. Ron

Be the mountains, moon and the stars (Poetry) - 6/21/2023 8:09:44 AM
I truly enjoyed this excursion into the realms of inspiration you chose. Once again, the poetic essence of Nature was given its due and in the process, enhanced the need of an individual seeking solace and peace from multiple scaring and hurt. Well done.

Hijacked mind (Poetry) - 6/20/2023 3:10:32 PM
I doubt if anyone could shake you to the core without your permission. Even then they had better know what follows a tentative...maybe. You are the master of your fate.

Hijacked mind (Poetry) - 6/20/2023 12:05:44 PM
Sometimes, there's something about another that attracts you in a way that you just can't escape. It happened to me once or twice. But somehow, I broke free. Hope you didn't hurt your beautiful face falling flat on it. ;-) Ron

Hijacked mind (Poetry) - 6/20/2023 10:06:30 AM
Well done captures the jangled emotions of love... Fee

No where to run (Poetry) - 6/19/2023 11:48:26 AM
There was a song out back then and one of the lyrics was "no where to run, nowhere to hide" and this poem brought that to mind. Yes, often when love hits, even if we don't want it to happen and are not prepared or ready for it. There is no stopping love... fee

No where to run (Poetry) - 6/19/2023 8:34:51 AM
Both cool and a bit humorous, I really like this one. Written a long time ago when you wore one of those hippie headbands? I call them sweat bands. I believe that many rock bands wore them because they helped keep the sweat of hot stages, hot lights, and vigorous performances from getting in their eyes and making it difficult for them to see… It was a cool look, though. Especially on a woman with very long hair, keeping it out of her eyes so they could be seen drawing you in with their gaze like your poem suggests. Ron

My loving gaze (Poetry) - 6/17/2023 9:55:40 AM
Your love is like the peaceful shame presented. Tranquil and determined to continue for very long time. All those adventurers were a great teacher for a poet. Ron

There is beauty in the dark (Poetry) - 6/15/2023 11:19:00 AM
This one goes from being down and out to arriving at epitome. Flowing beautifully in the right direction--nice! Ron

Intuition as my Guide (Poetry) - 6/14/2023 8:27:35 AM
I love this!

Intuition as my Guide (Poetry) - 6/12/2023 12:16:35 PM
This one was magic from beginning to end. One of your very best, getting better all the time. They say that a woman's intuition is better than a man's. And I believe that is so, largely because of a great need to protect children from harm. But in this case, seeking out and finding a soulmate that you can spend the rest of your life with sharing almost every moment. Ron

Together we will make our stand (Poetry) - 6/11/2023 4:20:34 PM

Heart attackin’ (Poetry) - 6/8/2023 9:18:40 AM
That is an invitation no man could refuse. It was hot, hot, hot and didn't stop there. You are the Pied Piper of romance poetry. That sweet honey will draw them in like flies. Ron

Polyamorous (Poetry) - 6/7/2023 9:50:06 AM
The real Mars is not a very good place. But men from Mars have been clearly delineated and I think you like men from Mars very well, even if you are from Venus. Of course whoever it is far away that is your Mars, I hope he finds this form of yours to be very comforting. Ron

All the Dos and Dont’s (Poetry) - 6/5/2023 7:33:09 AM
sometimes we have to make a choice between acceptance and walking away, this gives the equation room to think... Fee

Transformation (Poetry) - 6/4/2023 8:36:40 AM
Some fine images here: "My love is stronger than any chain stronger than any rain." Excellent write.

Angel of Salvation (Poetry) - 6/3/2023 11:44:23 AM
Something that we are born with and our parents, especially our mothers, should have instilled in us long before all of the peers, teachers and religions started trying to make us "grow up" their way. Thankfully, my parents gave me that kind of start where I was ready to be my own man, willing to help anyone that I saw needed help, at 10 years of age. as far as all the rest goes, I learned from the very best and what not to do from the very worst. My greatest life lesson has been how willing the angels of my rescue, simple strangers just willing to help, always came to me and helped me on my way with nothing more than a simple, "Thank you." Beautifully written and much simpler than my overly long response. Ron

Angel of Salvation (Poetry) - 6/3/2023 7:37:21 AM
Nice, with all the bad things going on in this world it is easy to overlook the good. Sometimes though the bad things also bring to light the good.I live in Nova Scotia and we have been surrounded by out of control forest fires, woods lost, houses destroyed etc. but the pulling together of people to help out and give was phemominal, so angels do exist... Fee

A fire within (Poetry) - 6/1/2023 1:32:17 PM
So passionate my ears are burning! What if that sin is really not forbidden but actually a real life force that you process and so many others don't even understand. One of the reason your poetry is so arresting and brilliant. That beautiful image of a bleeding heart reminds me of our angel flight begonia that grows to over 8 feet tall and right now is parading over eight lampshade like blossoms of a boom very similar to the bleeding heart. Ron Looking back at the flower again, it's not a bleeding heart. My bad.

A fire within (Poetry) - 6/1/2023 9:45:44 AM
Passionate with a hint of forbidden desire. Fee

Memory (Poetry) - 5/30/2023 3:55:11 PM

Memory (Poetry) - 5/30/2023 8:53:01 AM
Elisabeth, I can relate to your poem, from my former life. So beautiful and poigant. From your soul.

My Lantern of Pure Light (Poetry) - 5/29/2023 9:52:39 AM
Thank you for sharing your light and your poetry. It shines through the darkness that you experience earlier in life that you haven't fully come to terms with, yet. All you have to do is open up and let me see. Ron

Your Butterfly (Poetry) - 5/27/2023 12:11:42 PM
After loading up with the sweetest nectar, you can bet that butterfly is out for love and then to lay eggs for the next generation. And I sense a bit of remorse for not staying with a former lover woven into the poem, as well. Ron

Your Butterfly (Poetry) - 5/27/2023 2:44:44 AM
Heartfelt wish indeed...

Set in stone (Poetry) - 5/24/2023 5:08:20 AM

Dreams are made of fairytales (Poetry) - 5/21/2023 9:58:01 AM
This poem struck home for me. My technicolor dreams often have me flying and sometimes, headed for the floor or worse in an apparent crash that never really happens--thank goodness! Your dream may be realized sooner than you think when weightless excursions for lovers become part of the tourism industry. When people pay an affordable sum to spend a week weightless in an orbital spa. With all of their sensual desires fulfilled, perhaps, some seeds will take hold with beautifully formed babies upon return to earth. Their prodigy floating weightless in the life well of the mother. Our flying a fairytale no more. Ron

Infinity that has no end (Poetry) - 5/18/2023 11:24:46 AM
A longing for love is awakened with your verses, Elisabeth. Thank you for sharing. Love, peace, and blessings to you, Regis. 🙏🎵🐦🌷🦋🐬💚🌳🦉🌲

Infinity that has no end (Poetry) - 5/17/2023 12:48:24 PM
Methinks some of those beautiful hopefuls can happen right here on earth in the time we have left. However, we will have to wait a bit to make love while weightless. But it is coming and coming sooner than we think. Cavorting among the stars, is not very practical since the stars are so far apart. But if one stays on the earth and someplace away from light pollution, a hilltop in a place where the Milky Way can be seen overhead with clarity is about as good as it gets. Ron

Infinity that has no end (Poetry) - 5/16/2023 3:29:03 AM
Touching the heart and gripping the soul are your words of hope tinged with fear of what can or cannot be... Fee

Ethereal Lakes of Clarity (Poetry) - 5/14/2023 9:09:34 AM
Double that Wow! Yes, this poem has it all. The battle between good and evil that goes on inside one's brain (not the old heart pump) and you have covered the gamut of what kinds of emotions that come from our own internal conflicts, determining whether we are sane or not. Poetry is one way to relieve the tension and you have very honestly shared it with us. Thank you. Ron

Goodbye, not Farewell (Poetry) - 5/14/2023 8:58:45 AM
Written obviously by a poet who understands loss and knows the many options one has to deal with the experience. Goodbye, not Farewell is an opportunity to turn the disappointment into a solid lesson you created to learn, for without it, one continues creating similar experiences until the lesson is learned and one can move on. You're well on your way. Best of luck to one who appears to have earned it.

Ethereal Lakes of Clarity (Poetry) - 5/13/2023 8:03:03 AM
A fascinating, intriguing poem with a lot going on, stimulating the mind, there's that old bug-a-boo mind again. A note: some curious grammatical errors that should be fixed.

Ethereal Lakes of Clarity (Poetry) - 5/13/2023 3:44:54 AM
wow one of the best poems I ever read n a long long time, my fav Elis, gorgeous and etched in self preservation, love it

Goodbye, not Farewell (Poetry) - 5/12/2023 8:01:20 AM
Sounds like a sweet (and loving) farewell (fare thee well) to me, rather than an abrupt, final goodbye. Lovely.

My Credo (Poetry) - 5/10/2023 12:19:05 PM
What a lovely credo to have. I second that emotion. If only everyone was as free, what a wonderful world it would be. Ron

My Credo (Poetry) - 5/10/2023 9:24:33 AM
Well said...expressive. Fee

Blindfolded (Poetry) - 5/9/2023 10:46:45 AM
It's always blind faith that allows us to enter into the unknown. But the last two lines seem to shift gears and go in another direction. Ron

Blindfolded (Poetry) - 5/9/2023 8:04:05 AM
Sometimes it often does seem like we are blinded by love or the heart. Fee

The red muse (Poetry) - 5/7/2023 11:36:24 AM
I've never known the sunset to give me a right choice, but I love basking in the glory of its loving color, painting the sky like no artist ever could. Ron

Repose (Poetry) - 5/6/2023 8:56:35 AM
Even the insects are drawn to the light. There's nothing like the morning light to warm the chill of a cold, cold night. I wonder what would happen to us if the sun didn't come back in the morning every day? Beautifully expressed. Ron

Repose (Poetry) - 5/4/2023 3:20:11 PM
Through the darkest of days if we search hard enough we will find the light...glad you did. Fee

Heartbeat after heartbeat (Poetry) - 5/3/2023 8:28:51 AM
Gawd, I hate it when my knickers are in a twist! What I read is an open heart and open mind that I do not feel sorry for or want to help, but applaud. Bravo for an honest poem that will bring some readers to tears, if not me. Ron

For my children (Poetry) - 5/2/2023 10:29:43 AM
As parents to give and receive the love of our children is truly one of the great pleasures of this world...you expressed yours well. Fee

Magic Force (Poetry) - 5/2/2023 8:19:20 AM
No Ron. I’m describing the initial stage of falling in love and the fear of loosing oneself in the strong feeling. A rational being fearing it is an unhealthy feeling and trying to reach a balance. The battle between heart, soul and mind, wich can be a rapid game of pingpong going back and forth and can continue on for a few days, weeks or months depending on how anchored you are in your rational individualistic thinking.

Magic Force (Poetry) - 5/2/2023 7:43:16 AM
I sense there's something more. Perhaps you are describing a codependent relationship. Where someone wants to be free but really can't be free. Too many relationships are like this. When the love is gone, the dependency still exists. The best relationships are those where both parties can live on their own alone without the other. When that happens, the relationship is sound and lasting. Ron

Collecting mile after mile (Poetry) - 5/1/2023 9:10:28 AM
Fame certainly brings great stress to anyone's life. I was so glad you now have miles and miles to go without the overhanging obligation to fame anymore. Nicely put. Ron

Collecting mile after mile (Poetry) - 5/1/2023 7:16:37 AM
Life can be full of twists and surprised, enjoyed the poem and the introduction, Elisabeth.

Collecting mile after mile (Poetry) - 5/1/2023 6:16:04 AM
Love can never be overstated and is always loving.

Collecting mile after mile (Poetry) - 5/1/2023 5:10:44 AM
Yes Felix, I know that now more than ever! Just a fun story from the past I wanted to share after having come so far in the past eight years. 😀

Collecting mile after mile (Poetry) - 5/1/2023 5:05:18 AM
When we are burned by an individual we tend to classify all of them as being bad. The truth is, not all musicians are bad, not all truck drivers are bad, not all lawyers are bad, not all engineers are bad etc. I think we just need to find the person and the heart, not the profession, the income, the religion etc. Glad you found the one for you. fee

The Presense (Poetry) - 4/30/2023 11:21:17 PM
Hi Lady-Liz ! I just can't stand it anymore. I've decided to put you out of your constant state of delirium over some guy who is plaguing you for so long. It's getting worse: you can't figure out whether your self-analyses are studies in a "spell" or in a "trance". In this poem, you have only mentioned him once - that's simply amazing, and therefore a very serious condition. I have therefore decided to put on my Freudo-Reichian cap, and the answer I get - Hey Presto ! - is that you are suffering from a "lack" of this guy, that is, instead of letting him get hold of your "brain", you should direct the "whirl of colours" (must be that blind-bat fella I diagnosed in my last comment on your "YOU-filled" poems) to you know where... since as you say later he is rolled in "bright colours" later, maybe it's YOU. who needs to get your glasses checked for "specs" which don't permit distinguishing between "a whirl of colours" and "bright burning colours"??? The only solution (this analysis is costing you a pretty penny already) is to go get the GUY and see whether he's worth dreaming about!!! If he proves to be all throat and no juice, don't worry, you can always fall back on a certain Randy Ronnie who has quarts and quarts to spare for anyone in want of di-mystifying of dreams!!! Don't pay me yet; the Income Tax sharks right now are casting their icicle nets. Best Liz-Lady. Sleep tight. TW

The Presense (Poetry) - 4/30/2023 8:35:06 AM
Dreams can be like that. They can present a mystery that is intriguing, not sure whether it is dangerous or not. If you can turn it back on the next time you go back to sleep, you might find out. Or, like often happens with me, the dream is circular, going round and round would never reaching a conclusion. I read somewhere once that only women dream in color. That may be true for me, but I see people upon half awake in full-color clothes. Actually, something trying to take away one's brain is quite scary. Ron

A love that is true (Poetry) - 4/29/2023 2:51:15 PM
Well expressed... Fee

A love that is true (Poetry) - 4/29/2023 11:32:57 AM
Truer love was never written. I am smitten. Ron

Laced with Scars (Poetry) - 4/29/2023 10:49:11 AM
An honest exploration of love and its positive and negative tendencies. So tenuous, this often fickle principle of living. Nicely done.

Laced with Scars (Poetry) - 4/29/2023 1:17:52 AM
Yes, you captured the idea that love is built not just on the good times but living through the hard times as well. Well done Elizabeth Fee

In a Coil (Poetry) - 4/27/2023 9:44:35 AM
Perhaps it is the ever lasting struggle between good and evil that sometimes brings our thinking to a cramp caused by a boa constrictor inside squeezing the hell out of us. May the cramp disappear in the light of the moon and day shine on a lovely life ahead beyond this conflict expressed in your poem. Ron

In a Coil (Poetry) - 4/27/2023 6:28:29 AM
The image of the coil serves well as a symbol of what is sometimes going within us, in the mind, heart, soul, in deal with the things we are confronted with. As you wrote: "The body that craves so sweet // the mind that is set on retreat."

Meaning of life (Poetry) - 4/26/2023 6:31:11 AM
A challenging title and topic that you have explored in an interesting manner. The mystery will never fully reveal itself, but that shouldn't stop us from exploring into its meaning.

Meaning of life (Poetry) - 4/25/2023 6:15:52 PM
There is an endless world to explore and write about all around us. Very nice work!!

Meaning of life (Poetry) - 4/25/2023 4:02:37 PM
Interesting outlook, definately makes one stop and think... Fee

Meaning of life (Poetry) - 4/25/2023 11:17:29 AM
This poem is very modern and refreshing, I understand this philosophy too. Quantum science is constantly redressing, All that we know to be true. You wouldn't think it to be regressing, To use the labels that we do. However, it is both wonderful and depressing, To be able to talk to you....[[|:-)

Meaning of life (Poetry) - 4/25/2023 9:52:02 AM
What a wonderful view of life! I love that phrase of worshiping a prophet's shoe. Or a golden calf or 10 Commandments, for that matter. Life is there for us to enjoy. Throwing off all the one-sided views of our world creates a window for us to observe everything without fear. Ron

Meaning of life (Poetry) - 4/25/2023 6:37:28 AM
Indeed, so true. My latest, "Fear of Life" takes a rather circuitous route in life's prognosis, but in yours, there are very simple, yet profound, examples of the simplicity of living with all the senses working, all the associations searching for meaning, and above all, your poem avoids preaching. Well done.

Towards the Dawn (Poetry) - 4/24/2023 8:07:57 AM
A revolutionary poem with its depth and breadth very skillfully presented. I would make only one change… In the last line, I would change, "… lead the track," with lead the pack. Ron

All My Love Singing for You (Poetry) - 4/23/2023 8:45:26 PM
Passionately engaging... It has been said that "love is a many-splendored thing." There is even a movie with that title. I can relate completely to the theme that you share through your verses, Elisabeth. Love, peace, and blessings to you, Regis. 🙏🌸🌳🌎💚🌲🐬

All My Love Singing for You (Poetry) - 4/19/2023 2:52:16 PM
I believe you could skip a flat stone across that stream, and it would sing a poem worthy of many to wade in to find the source of the magic. But your fans know where the source of the magic.

All My Love Singing for You (Poetry) - 4/19/2023 9:39:24 AM
You write of one lucky person with a grateful poetess who admires. Ron's

All My Love Singing for You (Poetry) - 4/19/2023 9:06:00 AM
You expressed well the heartache and yearning for love that cannot be fulfilled. Fee

How it will be (Poetry) - 4/18/2023 6:32:42 AM
Dreams, especially day-dreams have a way of leading us in the right direction. Love your ending here.
