I've four of these, one for each element. Just a fun little exercise.

Raindancer

From nowhere and everywhere, he appeared out of the dark, swirling mist.  Angry currents of air buffeted him in the midst of the cloud, but he paid them no heed.  He hung there high above the earth like he had thousands of times before -- always returning to the origin of his birth.

He saw the earth trembling, far below him in restless trepidation.  Frightened animals scurried for shelter, and the restless trees moaned in the wind.  Swirls of dust scattered before the winds, seeking a place to hide, but finding none.

The air around him sparkled with energy, surging around and through him, building in intensity until it burst earthward in a dazzling display of light.  A tree disintegrated into splinters, its flame lighting the way as he plummeted earthward silently through the cloud.

He had been everywhere before:  racing toward shore in cresting waves, tumbling over the smooth stones of the river, laughing among the rocks of a mountain stream, lying placidly in a still country pond, and even frozen in the depths of a grinding glacier.  But this time it was different!

Pulled by her urgent call, he sensed her before he saw her.  She was dancing in the rain, with curtains of it eddying around her lithe nakedness, and her arms were outspread, open to the heavens.  He leaped into her arms from the sky, spreading over her smooth skin in rippled love -- soaking in, and covering her with himself, forming rivulets that entwined about her body as she danced, enveloping her in a watery hug.

In the rain and dance, they became one, flowing together in mingled life and love.  He was part of her now.  It was his legacy.  It was his destiny!

Beautiful imagery where the rain and the dance become one and the land is fertile once again. Let's see the other three...

Cool.

Who is he, Dallas? Eternal spirit of love perhaps? Intriguing artistry here. :-) Linda
