They lived the fairytale.  The fairytale with sunlight and smiles.  Their divine intensity radiated the sun itself.  Best friends and lovers all in the same.  Two unfortunate souls that met separation from one an other.  For another before has been bestowed with the gift of life. A child. A child that will be his and hers instead of his and mine.  A child from an insignificant other before I. No love nor happiness. Engagement is broken and a best friend is lost.  He is now off to start a family.  He believes the right decision was made, yet still so much was lost.  I sit, and still search for a loophole that does not exist.
