Come the Dark again
I will be steel this time,
my Heart
Ready-Strength,
and toned.

Come the Dark
my Hope's Re-enforced
my Faith's Renewed'
and I shall toss aside
Diminishments
and Negativities
and Seething Flutterings.

I will wave
that Wand
which is Hearth and Kin;
tall Stance make
against dark Blandishments,
strike low
Fear-ments,
Afraid-ness,
Rage-ments,
Cynicalness
Devil-ments
and Tricks
which diminish
Human-ness
and the Light.

I will,
as I have
in the past,
do it
Again
and Again
as often as I Need to
and Should.

I will this time flip Fear
and wring from it Hope.
I will taffy stretch Time
to what I need to rehabilitate Negativities.
I will take Rage and make it to lie down with Peace
and make the Harming Ones weep Atonement Tears.
I'll not veer from my path, nor falter
and if need be
you find me on the other side
yet alive
still struggling if need be;
and if there,and there is no need
then my story will have ended well.
